Lime Cilantro Crema

If you have never put crema on anything it is time for you to christen your taste buds because it can take your tacos or meat from zero to hero! And it's so easy. Tangy and creamy. What are you going to try it on next?

Tips:

- Great for use as taco topping

- Good with fish - we had it with Red Snapper fillets

- Easy fish recipe: take 2-3 fish fillets, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 425 F. Top with onions, cabbage, and crema. So good!

Makes about 1/4 cup of crema - plenty to top 3 - 4 tacos ;)

 

What you need:

  • 3 TBSP mayonnaise

  • 3 TBSP sour cream

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • Zest of 1 lime

  • Juice 1/2 a lime

  • pinch of salt

How to:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Yes, that's all. Top away!
